Out-of-Network Massage Therapy (Insurance Reimbursement & FSA/HSA Accepted)

At Aesthetic Physique Whole Health Spa, we provide medically necessary therapeutic and lymphatic massage services and currently accept Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Cigna as out-of-network plans. We also accept FSA and HSA cards for eligible services.


Important: Payment is due at the time of service. We do not bill insurance directly. Clients receive the documentation needed to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

Conditions Commonly Eligible for Reimbursement



Out-of-network massage therapy may be reimbursable for treatment related to:


  • Motor vehicle accidents (PIP / MVA claims)
  • Work-related injuries (with appropriate documentation)
  • Physician-prescribed massage therapy for:
    • Pain management
    • Inflammation and swelling
    • Post-surgical aftercare and recovery



Medical necessity is determined by your healthcare provider and insurance carrier.





How to Get Started




Step 1: Obtain a Prescription or Referral


To support reimbursement, your referral should include:


  • Diagnosis code (ICD-10)
  • Frequency, duration, and treatment areas
  • Referring provider’s name and contact information




Step 2: Submit Documentation


Please email or call/text the following:


  • Insurance card (front & back)
  • Photo ID (front & back)
  • Current referral or prescription




Step 3: Schedule Your Appointment


Once reviewed, we will contact you to schedule your session.

Please bring your insurance card, photo ID, and referral to your first visit.





After Your Session



Upon request, clients receive a Superbill to submit directly to their insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement or FSA/HSA documentation.
